Is there an individual in your organization, or someone that you know, who will benefit by enhancing their leadership skills and increasing their knowledge of the inner-workings of our community?
If so, encourage them to apply for the 2010-2011 session of the Hutto Leadership Academy. It offers a challenging educational experience designed to develop:
- An awareness of the Hutto community
- Provide personal leadership training
- Install the practice of volunteer service in each class member
Hutto Leadership Academy is a joint project of the Hutto Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Hutto, Hutto ISD, Hutto Economic Development Corporation, Williamson County Precinct 4 and Hutto Fire and Rescue.
Participants are chosen through an application (image on right) and selection process that represents a cross section of our city. The class begins with an overnight team-building retreat in August and then one-day-a-month meetings that focus on specific leadership traits and community functions.
Class members benefit by gaining insight into the inner workings of our community and by establishing a valuable network of civic, business & educational leaders. They will also develop lasting friendships throughout the year.
The community benefits by gaining a source of high quality leaders who are prepared to help address issues critical to our future.
